Question After 103", what to do with take off parts?

Hi Guys,
I was wondering if there is any application for the take off parts from my '09 SG after installing the 103" Stage II kit. My bike only had 1000 miles on it so the original piston/cylinder assemblies and cams are like new. Is there an older engine maybe that would benefit?

Thanks,
Marc

The only thing that folks will probably show any interest in are the jugs. The pistons and cams aren't really worth anything. Put it all in the classified section here and someone might be looking.

I have my take-off cylinders/pistons at my indy's shop. Sooner or later someone will come in and buy them. Anything I get for them is a bonus as far as I'm concerned.

Keep them, you never know if the day will come where you will need a smog insp or something. Theyre not worth anything so Id put em in a box and store them.

Kind of tough to eyeball the difference between 96 ci and 103 ci jugs on a twin cam motor. More importantly, the same 103 ci kit/motor is perfectly smog legal on currently sold police bikes, not to mention CVO bikes with their 110 ci motors. Increased displacement alone isn't a smog crime. Now those cams of yours "might" be a problem.

Here is what I am going to do with my parts

http://www.patriotguard.org/

As we accessorize and customize our bikes we all end up with a garage full of parts that collect dust and take up space. We can't bring ourselves to get rid of these items, but we have no good use for them and may never need them again. Well, the PGR now has a need for those items. We need you to go through your garage and DONATE all of your good, clean, unwanted motorcycle accessories/parts to the PGR. We will sell these items on eBay and all proceeds (sales less shipping costs) will be used for the Legal Defense Fund. Motorcycle parts/accessories include pegs, seats, lights, handle bars, grips, kickstands, sissie bars, luggage, bags, mirrors, etc...
Please follow the simple steps listed below should you choose to participate in this event.
Ship your donated item to:
PGR Garage Sale
C/O BTC
900 N. East Ave.
Panama City, Florida 32401

Include a description with all pertinent info such as Part #, Make, Model, and Year if the item is bike specific.
Please include your name and email address as we will email you a receipt for your tax deductible donation. It will be up to each individual contributor to list the value of the donated item(s) on each receipt when received.
Should you have any questions that are specific to this fund raising event please email them to: pgrldfgaragesale@gmail.com

I am not a member but think it is a cool org.

I found a student at MMI who wants mine. They only had 11 miles on the bike when I made the change (five of those miles from my demo ride), so the parts are essentially new.

He's a friend of a friend, so I'm just waiting to see what he offers for the parts. It's probably not much, but at least it gets the stuff out of my garage.
