I bought one, very small, waterproof and under $100. Comes with 3 mounting options and I haven't yet decided which to use. Nice picture, battery operated, no wires, comes with everything you need including cables to playback on tv or download on computer. Mine holds 1 hr. recording.

I'll chime in here as I've tried a few different mounts and have found none that eliminate vibration. As stupid as it may sound, the absolute best place for a video camera is duct taped down upon a soft cloth and strapped to the front fender just ahead of the headlamp. I have shot many video's from here and many have commented that the shots are unbelievably smooth.
Shot with a Panasonic Mini DV and recorded while strapped to the front fender with good old duct tape. I turn on a wind filter for the mic, and then edit the clips and add music with studio 10 from Pinnacle. Just roll up a soft cloth to protect the camera from hard bumps in the road, and tape it down tight with duct tape. All you gotta do is stop now and then to clean bugs off the lens and roll on..
