I've been searching through many threads looking for the complete parts list needed to mount a road glide fairing on a road king. I'm sure someone has posted the list some where I'm just tired of looking. If any one has the list or a link it would be greatly appreciated.

Also, for those that have made the conversion, how many of the parts were you able to find on ebay or in salvage yards?

Well i dont have a list but if you buy the touring parts manual for your year it will list all the parts you need, but just for information a friend was re-building a wrecked 2000 road glide and the cost for the front end was about 2500.00 so he made it a street glide for allot cheaper.

look up a guy tna1000 he didit and turned out killer. if you dont do all the gauges you can get the fairing in and out plus brackets for about 1200 for chicago hd. Yeah i've done a lot of lookin at this.

 

I've been searching for a post for someone who's converted from Road King or Road Glide to factory Street Glide fairing....no luck yet

 

Converting to a street glide is easy.....inner fairing and outer fairing and 2 brackets and you are close to done.

 

Plus wiring harness yes? I asked my dealer about doing the conversion. They told me it would be costly. I think not.

 

I'm in the process of morphing a '09 SG into a RG. I have the complete parts list for my application if you'd like it. There is a helluva lot more stuff than you would think.
