Default Made in TAIWAN

I've got an 06 EG Standard which I has become not so standard with all of the additions. Seems just about everything I have ordered from HD to put on this bike has a made in taiwan label on it. I'm beginning to understand why after putting in the radio, full gauges in dash, adjustable ride backrest, crusie control, new turn signals etc... YOU HAVE TO HAVE CHINA-MAN FINGERS TO GET INTO ALL THESE TIGHT SPOTS.

Problem is labor is too expensive in the US so they had to outsource some things to make a profit.

I wonder if parts sold in Tiawan have "Made in America" stamped on them.

We are exporting good jobs and importing cheap labor. You would think that for the premium prices we pay for HD accessories they would be made in the USA.

I though everyone knew that if you want a good ole fashion quality American product or an employee with good American work ethic that you have to hire a foreigner.

outsourcing has a lot more to do with EPA regulations and goverment incentives then it does the issue of cheap labor. it's just not out turn right now
