all the pro union guys always want to point to the 40hr week, weekends off, lunch breaks, etc. as to why we need unions. well, all those things are definitely good things, but they were granted a long time ago and are part of this country's wage and labor laws now. so what have the unions done for us american workers in the last few decades?
They have drove up the price of every thing they produce that we all get stuck paying for
yeah, the north is awesome, and we're just a bunch of dumb rednecks down here..... if the quality of the cars coming out of detroit is any indicator of the 'quality work' that you guys do up north, no wonder we're in a world of hurt.... (yes, i know american quality is up, but there is still a long way to go. btw i drive a ford and a gm product)

Simple minds always say this crap! If the unions weren't around you'd be making $6 an hour and have no benefits. They've done a lot of good for a lot of people...... Including you, in one way or another.
Corporate greed is why the parts we buy are made it taiwan for pennies an hour. Then they charge as if it was made in the USA.
Like I always say; you live in a union of states, if you don't like it move!
