Question Tunes with no batwing?

What are my options for getting tunes if I don't want to get a batwing for my road king? I listen to the radio and my IPOD never use the CD player anymore in the truck...mp3's on the IPOD are just too damn convenient.

Mount a couple of 8 inch speakers in your saddle bags with a 200 watt amp. Mount your mp3 in your pocket with a wire to your amp and rock on

Why not just invest in some custom ear plugs that have speakers inside them? They fit much better and will block the wind noise. By the way, you do know that there is ipod radio attachment? Apple sells it and it works great with certain generation ipods.

Sometimes I just like to listen to the radio especially if the weather is looking iffy.

You won't like the sound without the wind coverage - too noisy! Unless you're puttin' around Main Street at slow speeds.

Default Music Pacs

Check out the sounds from
aip racing .com or something like that.
My budy ownes an 08 that they put an eq for volume control, an Ipod, there amp and he went with there audiobar because saddle bag speakers can not be heard by the rider at 50 mph or above but you can here the audiobar really good. Or do the dragon fly they sell alot of those as well.

Default Road King tunes

I have a set of molded ear plugs with the speakers molded inside. I am not talking about having ear buds stuck in the plastic now. They have incredible fidelity as well and if you have them molded in clear like I did they are totally inconspicuous. I used to use these with my Wide Glide. No windshield of course. Not only did they block the wind noise but the sound was great. I never had any issues with the volume either.

Give these guys a try. You won't be unhappy with the results. I used to carry my mp3 player on my belt or now a days there are plenty of mounts out there. Good Luck.
