I have ordered from them for years and only had one screwup on their part. When you order, your correct as it shows as being backordered on EVERYTHING. That's just the way it goes into the computer. If I can save a dollar I will. I don't feel any better paying too much to keep harley afloat with their overpriced items so when I can save a dollar, I do. I also order in the winter so it's no big deal waiting a couple of weeks. They probably have some guy making 5.00 an hour doing it so you can't expect the same service you would from somebody that is at the store and you hand the part to him. Less costly parts, maybe not such a great deal but you buy an air cleaner for 300.00 MSRP (manufacturers suggested ripoff price) and save 20%, that is worth the wait in my opinion. (also no tax can sometimes be better than the cost of shipping so there can be additional savings).

If you have to medicate by spending money then Chicago Harley isn't going to work for you.
I have used CHD many times and they always give 20% off on everything where other dealers will try and slip you a piece now and then for more.
They also don't rip you off on the shipping like a lot of places do.

Thanks, I'll try them next time. I like to spread the wealth around anyway.

I have ordered maybe $5500 worth of parts and things without one problem. Sure I had to wait a couple of times but what's new about that and MOCO

Chicago HD burned me once with their long shipping delays. Never again. 20% off is not worth the aggravation.

Hey I always check around. Don't get me wrong, it isn't eaxctly 20%. The more you spend the cheaper it is (usually).

Them selling a part that they ordered for me "to someone else", will stop me from ever ordering something from them. You may screw me around once, but not twice.

Have only order a couple things from them, I just usually call Mid-America and they either lay it back for me or call me when it comes in.
