How do I bypass the alarm to work on the bike?

I just zip tie my key/fob to the front brake lever.

This won;t keep the alarm from going off if you pull the maxi fuse or disconnecting the battery

I was hooking up the harness for my heated vest just after Christmas. I just unhooked the negitive ground and the alarm scared the living Cr&p out of me........for got I had it!!
