I went from the Road King to and Electra GLide Standard. The fairing does give better wind protection - at least in my opinion. I do miss my Road king but mainly for the old EVO engine. The ride on the new EG is great.

 

Because sometimes less is more. I don't even want to add up the time & money I've spent in the past 25 years dechroming, debadging and decluttering just about every car, truck & bike I've owned!!
