Default Changing to 21" wheels

Been thinking about switching to a 21" front wheel on my 07 Road Glide. Was wondering
the difference if any in the handling of the bike. And some pics. would be helpfull.

I am running Renegade 21" front and lowered the rear 3/4" and the front 1". Handling to me feels better than stock. I'm loving both the look and feel. You won't regret the switch.

Hey HOGWYLDPR, bike looks great! Is that a Renegade Monterey you've got on the front? And if so do you have any other pics of the front wheel? I've got my choices down to a few and those are one of them. NICE!

Oh, and HOGWYLDPR, did you have to change out your fender, or is that just the way it fit with the 21" under it?

Really like my 21" rides good handles very well. I also lowered the front 1 1/2" to even it out just a little for looks and seat hight.

21x18 setup on my 07 Ultra. I love the looks and the handleing. I lowered via Arnott air-ride suspension.

Default Skinny front tire?

I know this is a popular upgrade to HD touring bikes, but I just don't get it. I think these heavy bikes ride better with a fat tire, front and rear. What is to be gained by a skinny, but larger, front tire? Handling? Looks? I don't know.
The wheels sure look good, but are they really functional ?

I thought I might be changing back to my 16" if It didnt handle right, but was very happy with the handling and ride. I like the handling better than stock, much quicker.
