I took the 21" off and went to a set of 18"s. Much better ride and handling for my taste. I think the 18's are optimum, but hard to argue with how great the stock 16's or the new 17/16 tires perform.
IMO.. 18" tires and wheels and even more so, 21's are all about looks and showing off the wheel. I think it's easy to "feel" like your bike handles better with these wheels after dropping a couple of grand

It is the Renegade Tahoe. Real tough choice with the Renegade wheels.

I didn't need to change the fender out, but did have to adjust it a little forward. Good thing about the Metzelers is that they don't expand very much.

Very pleased with my setup. Lowered both front and rear. Like others have said, I think it handles better.

Been wondering the same here - but then again, I've been rediculously consumed with this topic as of late...

Is it normal to keep the stock rear since no one can hardly see it and just upgrade the front?

I decided to upgrade to a 21/18 Hogpro setup and lowered the front 1". Some will say the cost is hindering judgements. I dont agree. I think the bike has a "sportier" fell and handles very smooth.
