Received a set of Rush 15301-200 slip ons, I went to install them and the stock Harley rear brackets would not fit, thought about grinding or dremeling the holes to fit..instead just returning for a new set..wondering if anyone else had this problem ?
Just drill both holes out a hair. start with a bit a hair bigger than the hole in the bracket and work your way up untill it fits. thats better than drilling one hole a lot bigger. Thats what I would do instead of sending them back.
I heard from Rush, they have had several calls with the same problem, it appears H-D changed the brackets on the 09, (apparently not all) previously the holes have been slotted to accommodate for any change in tolerance, I went to Sears and bought a $7 round file and made the holes elongated, took 5 minutes. Pipes going on tonite.

Guess my brackets were fine, Rush slipped right on
Gotta love trying to put aftermarket exhausts on these 09's! Had to use spacers to make my Rineharts fit my 09 King.
How did the install go? the spacers bub sent finally arrived yesterday (a week after my install lol) and they weren't nothing special... they're all black and not nearly as nice as the ones I used.
