FLHRC(Road King Classic) Housing Switch
#21
Bleeding the brakes is no big deal. I use an ez bleeder, get it "ez", you fill big needle with fluid, connect hose between needle and bleeder valve, open vale and push plunger to inject fluid. Go slowly and keep mastercycl cover laying on so you don't spray fluid out of master. Close bleeder valve before plunger empties. Do both sides till master full to 1/4" from top. Then Have a bud squeeze brake lever and bleed out any air conventionally. Done this often, usually only takes one convential bleed on each caliper after filling and brakes are perfect.
There are 4 screws in the housing also not 3 like I said. Forgot the one in the upper housing.

I have an 07 RKC as well. I did the research, ended up buying my kit from Hill Country Custom Cycles (www.hillcountrycustomcycles.com). Robert answered all my questions, put my mind at ease. Kit includes the control housings, master cylinder, cluth and brake handles.
Bottom line for me was I wasn't going to pay $500+ for a kit. I got mine from Hill Country delivered for $190.
Hope this helps. Good luck.
