When I had the dealer do the stage 1 (V&H ovals and SE intake) on my 08 RK they did a stage 1 download also. The download they used was the 103 download. Just wondering if this is comonly used as the download. They said the 103 gives a little more fuel for the increased air flow. Anyone else us the 103 download?? The engine is stock 96..

 

I dont know if the download for the 103 is the same as what HD calls the stage 1 download that I got, but I know a dealer did the stage one download on my 07 ultra with a stock 96". I have the stock air box, K&N filter, rush slipons. I have no driveability issues and I would say it helped out on high oil temps a bit.

That said, I would go with a adjustable fuel programmer if I had it to do over again. If I would have researched on here a bit more before I was at the dealer I would have went with a Fuelmoto set-up.
