I traded 2 bikes in for the Ultra, so no sales tax paid.

So when is HD gonna pony up a rebate?

They never have and never will.

Ford, GM and Chrysler routinely offer factory rebates, but never Harley. HD instead hopes they can ride free on the taxpayer....I'd like to see 2K off MSRP on the higher tier bikes, and maybe 500 off MSRP on Sportys before I'd let them get in the chow line.

Doesn't apply to me, being in the military, I don't pay taxes on bikes or autos that I purchase.

I bought mine on Dec 6th '08 so I guess i'm included? That would be a nice shot in the arm for sure.
