Default Airhawk on a Sundowner seat?

Anybody using a Airhawk seat cushion on a Sundowner seat? Curious how they fit. I'm looking at the medium which is 14"Wx14"L and by measuring the seat seems like it should fit ok, but would like to hear from people that actually use this combo.

Thanks.

I have two of the airhawks, and love them. I used them on a old BMW I had and now on the ultra classic when we go on a longer trip.

i use the large one on my stock ultra seat and it works well for long road trips on tip remove the seat then strapp it on then shoot a small screw w/washer through the strapp into the seat bottom at each edge makes takin it off and on much easyer.

I use a 14" X 14" on a stock FLHTC seat and it works great. I almost got the large because it has the same "footprint" as the seat but the Air Hawk site recommended the medium. I think the square model is more comfortable since it doesn't come up on the nose of the stock seat that you don't sit on.

Yeah, I read your post and I know you asked about a Sundowner/Air Hawk combo but thought this input might help.

Less air is better. It makes a stock seat all day comfortable...nuff said!

I've got a Sundowner on my 02 FLHTC and it's fine, having said that I never have had a Airhawk. My $0.02

I used an AirHawk on my 2007 Road King with a Sundowner seat and it worked great. With that combination, I was able to ride 850+ miles in a day without getting a sore backside. The only problem is, I can't remember what size of AirHawk I bought. I don't have the Road King now, but I still have the AirHawk. I'm using it on my 2009 Ultra. It works well for that too. Keep in mind that it does sit you up a little higher.

Thanks for the replies. I ordered a medium Airhawk, can't wait to try it out.
