Well, I don't have any good input for you, but if you find something you like, I'd be interested in taking the old shocks off your hands. Been needing a set to lower the back of my Road King.

I put Penske shocks on my 2008 Street Glide, that I had custom built through Motorcyclemetal.com. I used the same 12" height as the stock Street Glide. These shocks made a complete difference in the ride - improved comfort as well as performance.
I can also adjust them for when I'm riding two-up for long distances so that my wife get a comfortable ride, too.
I originally started looking for shocks after hitting a big bump in the road and having my wife almost fly off the back - hasn't happened since I got the Penske shocks.
You might also want to consider changing out the front - I did and again it's made a huge difference in ride quality.

I run the 12 1/2" Progressive 440's on my '06 SG.
I'd prefer a better shock...either Penske, Ohlin, Works or Bilstein.
But with those shocks comes a hefty price tag.
How much you got? Is what it boils down to.
I'm happy with my 440's.
I went with 12 1/2's to hopefully eliminate any saddlebag scraping.

The Race techs are along the lines of the Progressives in price. Reasonable. And they have a fork valve kit that us cheap and good. I plan on going to a normal height, as in not lowered like the stock SG. Not sure what that is yet.
