reinhart and v&h great combo
i had reinhart slip on mufflers with the stock exahust. they sounded good. today i picked up a set of vance and hines true dual header, mounted them with the reinharts and wow....these bastards sound good. it took about 8 thousand miles to break in these mufflers and i will tell u, they are twice as loud now. sound great. i did not add the fuel pack or the air cleaner, but i will say that the 1st set of reinharts i had were not as loud. they all seem to be different. best sounding 08 road king on the road.

I had the V&H true dual head pipes and Supertrap SE's. I found the pipes didn't mellow out at highway speeds. Drove a friends bike who had Rienhart TD's and liked the bark at the lights and take off, and most of all how they mellow out on the highway. Sold the SE's last week and bought a set of Rienhart slips to go with my V&H TD's. I hope I like them as much as you!
Gotta wait a few months to try them out though

will try to get a sound clip, the thing i find with the reinharts is that some are louder then others. i had a different set of them on my road king, and the tips discolored. reinhart sent me a new set of mufflers. the new set wasnt as loud. but after about 8000 miles, they were louder then the original set. now with the new headers, there almost twice as loud, with a real nice rummble.
