Default Synthetic oil - switch between brands okay?

First post, and it concerns my wife's Ultra. She currently has Royal Purple in it, but I am wanting to switch over to Amsoil (I use it on my VTX)? Since they are both synthetic, I am assuming this is okay to do. Has anyone else done this and had any bad effects?

Thanks!

I was using the 20w-50 in all 3 then switched to the 75w-90 gear and like the difference. Smooth shifting and easy finding neutral.

All of the good synthetics have statements on the containers that they're compatible with other oils, dino or synth, so I'm sure it must be OK. I've done it before with no apparent ill effects.

Good luck,

John
