changed from harley synth. to amsoil no problems at all. mobile 1 gear oil in tranny. made big difference in smoothing out clunks and shifting..

Arizona, why didn't you go back to the Electra Glide. I was at my dealer yesterday and fell in love with the 2009 Red Hot Sunglo Road King.But the other half said no way be happy with what you have.But man I like that bike, I have it as my screen saver.

Okay, another question I forgot to ask you all...

How many miles are ya'll going between oil changes when running synthetic? I run my VTX to nearly double the recommended change interval with no ill effects. The shop that has been doing the oil changes is recommending changing the synthetic oil every 5,000 miles, which seems too short to me.

Service is every 5K,
Oil is 5K
primary is 10K
Tranny is 20K
Fork oil is 20K

You sound like Bluerose's husband. She had an Ultra.
