I just bought a Sirius kit from Directed X (I think) that mounts to the handlebar. The Sirius unit sits in the cradle and then there is a little metal platform that gets installed right above the receiver and the antenna sits there. It comes with oh I don’t 6 inches of wire for install and play. Don’t quite me on exact measurement; I still got to install the dam thing. Just reading some of posts here and still trying to figure out if I should splice into the wires for the headlight or the factory radio to provide the power necessary to power it up.
I’m at a loss cause theirs many different suggestions. Anyone care to suggest the best way? The install directions do not suggest hooking the unit directly to the battery and the unit will always be on. IM cheap so the Sirius receiver is going to be used between my truck and my hawg.

A friend had the exact same set-up with no problems.
