Probably means he's not really into the biker lifestyle, just like to ride his bike. Kinda guy who would see someone broke down on side of road and wave as he goes by!
I get that crap all the time if I ride into work. As soon as some meat whistle walks up with that swagger and gonna tell me how it is. I reply with a big "COOL". I am on the clock so I'm not about to get into details with them. It's not a debate, it's not a popularity contest. Just goes to show you how many people get into riding not because they want ti ride but because they want friends and someone to talk to.

Not a Bud..Some dude I meet at a Harley dealer. He started talking to me and I asked him if he was a biker. He said " no, I am a motorcyclist".
I don't care, I was just curious what he was trying to say.
I consider myself a motorcyclist who rides a Harley. Not a hard core dressed in black looking to be the toughest guy around, just a nice guy who rides a Harley.
That's how I see it, others will differ. We all like to ride.
