Default Fat Boy Fender

Want to put 1 on my 03 Ultra. Adapter kit from H-D says that "kit will not work w/fairing lowers". Anybody done it w/lowera on? Can't see why it wouldn't?

The stock fatboy fender has a flip up on the back that will rub on your lowers. I know because I have one on my Roadglide with lowers. I had to make different lower clamps for my lowers to move them back and out. The street stalker fender does not flip up in the back and should fit fine with the adaptor kit. Bounty (above) does not have lowers on his bike.

What did you do w/clamps? Just make them offset more to the rear? Wonder if I could just drill another hole on bottom? How far back does it have to go? Where did the street stalker come from? Looks good! Oh yea, do you use the fat boy adapter kit w/stalker?

Thanks,
