Hey All!!! I am looking to trade in my Deluxe for a Street Glide. I like the looks of it, but have yet to ride one and wanted to find out from the current riders on how the Street Glide handles and rides.
Find someone with a rigid and take a spin, you'll see. You'd swear there aren't any shocks on the street glide.

Hmm, that's funny, my last bike was a rigid I built to replace my Roadking, my new Streetglide rides nicer than either one of them.
edit: I'll have to say that I did have to play with the air pressure in the rear shocks to get it in my comfort zone. The ride home from the dealership was a bit rough.
Coming off a deluxe you should rent a couple
different tourers and see for yourself.
It could save you from buying the wrong bike for you.
That being said, I love mine.
I only have about 400 miles on mine but I love the ride. The thing that sticks out the most for me so far is the handling. It maneuvers much easier than all the other bikes I have ridden.
