Neat idea, but I would think stones will eat the paint up pretty quickly.

You can get color matched powdercoating, doesn't have to be paint. It would be the same as those that have black powdercoatig.

Im thinking of doing this also. Was thinking of having the wheels, and lowers powdercoated to match the bike. Dont know if it would be too much, but I think it would be different to say the least.

Powdercoating black would be an easy match. Powdercoating a pearl color...heck I don't even know if that's a possibility.

That looks awesome, love the chrome and polished rotor. I'm going in a different direction, though. I'm doing mine black.

Pearl colors ARE available in powder coat, there is even pearl clears to go over any standard solid or metallic color. However, trying to match a pearl paint would be extremely difficult since you don't mix the pearl into the powder like a painter mixes in the pearl additive.

A gunmetal grey, or even a metallic grey that's darker than your paint would look great!
