Speakers in saddlebags
I curious if anyone has put speakers in there saddlebags. I've done some measuring and it would appear that 6.5 speakers would fit just right in the lower back corner pointed in towards the wheel.
I have a 07 RK with a new fairing that has a 200w stereo and I have found a really nice set of marine grade speakers that have a very heavy metal cage around the speaker itself for protection in the bag.
If anyone has tried this I'd be interested in hearing how it turned out and I would also be interested in seeing some pictures.
I have trailer that I am going to use for road trips so the bags don't have to hold that much stuff and I thought that maybe I could get a little more bass out of the stereo if I used the saddlebags as a box.
Maybe I'm nuts, but it might be worth a try.
