Default Heat deflectors

I'm thinking about investing in the heat deflectors for my bike! For members that have them, can you feel a big difference in them, are they worth the buck, because I know last summer my thighs sure did get hot. So before I invest in them I just want to see if they really do the job! Thanks!

I have the RJ Originals on my 08. It is a 103 build and the shields were some of the first things I bought for it. My friend recommended them. They do help to take some of the heat away from the legs. Ended up also adding an HD oil cooler that also helped with the heat. My opinion is that I am glad I got them as they do help but given these new bikes run pretty hot in the summer, don't get your expectations too high.

RJ's work great on my '05. I'm on full synthetic too.

Yes they help. If you get the right ones, it can help the looks of the bike too.

I find the stock heat deflectors work very well on my 09Ultra. Bought some Kuryakyn's for my 00FLHT, and had problems with the plastic heat deflectors contacting the rear cylinder head so didn't leave them on. The RJs look good.

Funny, I just got to ride for the past couple of weekends since I put my Rj's on and I was thinking "damn, I wish they didn't work so well..." it was in the 30's!! They are well worth the money, great guy and a great American product!!

I went with the Harley heat shields on my 08. Had the RJ's on my 05. The HD's fit on the bike better.

I had an 05' without shields, my 09' came with them. I notice a big difference, I don't know which aftermarket ones to go with though sorry.

How about a link as to where to find the RJ's and what can we expect to pay for them.
