Around here we ride all year long. We get breaks in the weather called Chinooks. Here's a couple pictures to prove it. If my KW windshield wasn't blocking the wind, there's no way you'd see me riding like this in the winter. Love this shield!

Both the Streetlides pictured here use 6.5" flared shields. Bud liked mine so much he went out and got one for his 06 (front).

BTW...at 5'10" the 6.5" works great for me. For taller people, Klock Werks offers an 8" and 12" flared. Check them out at http://www.kustombaggers.com

I posted a thread...Cee Bailey's had a "20% off all weekend" sale.
A couple forum members, and myself...kept bumping it up so everyone that wanted one could get in on it.
Yeah!! BadPiggy turned me onto it, so I've got my CB SSC coming! Can't wait!

I couldn't ride an hour with my back slumped like that. That's what great about all this crap. There is something for everyone. I just hope I don't run out of money before I find it. LOL

Hook up with the rider's back rest from H-D. I get pains in my neck after the first 100 miles so I got the backrest and it solved that problem. On shorter rides I'm all slumped cause I like to ride lean and mean. 3 months and 5000 miles on my '09 and it's all good!

Thanks, but I already have the backrest and it works great.

I ride without one sometimes to the dealer and back
to bike night and back
dinner rides and back
but if it's for anything over 20 minutes, I need my backrest. I couldn't have a motorcycle without one.
