I've had the Clearview and Windvest, the Windvest out preformed the Clearview. Able to use a 10" Windvest instead of the 12" Clearview. Windvest has a more radical recurve. A bit more money but you get what you pay for. And I'm not dissing Clearview, good company with a good product, I just like the Windvest more.

I'm not saying that.
MANY forum members use & love their Clearview.
I'm going through the..."let's try this one" stages.
I'll find the right one, sooner or later.

The Klock definitely wasn't the one.

Put a tinted 8" Clearview on today .The recurve model for my Ultra. It does all I want.Much less turbulence,no screen in eyeline.Radio is much clearer.Solid company that has great customer concern.I would give it a 10.

Great price ,great screen.

Dunno what all the BS about the Klock Werks shields are but I have three of them on my bikes and love them. I have 2 of the 6.5's on the Batwing bikes, and a 12" on the RG. Awesome shields and they look super cool too. So smooth on my Streetglide that I can light a smoke at 75mph and it's windy here along the Rockies too.

I love my KW shield. It does not kick the wind over my head like the 5 foot girl in the wind tunnel pics. The wind is not choppy like the stocker though. I can hear my radio till about 80 mph no problem.

Default Wind Shields

Does the Clearview or Cee Bailey work with apes? Mine are 10 inch apes and they go straight up, I can't use the stock windshield on my Road Glide because when I lock out the forks the handlebars knock the windshield out of position. I have an eight inch shield on now and they work with that, but I don't know if a windshield that is pulled back will smack the bars.

I just bought the 11" Cee Bailey. I'll let you know how it works out.

At 5' 7" the Klock Werks should be okay for you. On a guy 6' the wind hits you in the forehead. They look great on a Street Glide. They are just to short for me.

I am 6' and have a 9 1/2" Clearview with recurve and look about 3 inches over it. At the end of the day the windshield will be covered in bugs, but I won't have a single bug on my sunglasses. So I guess it works pretty good.
