I'm not doubting your genius, but I want to make sure I'm understanding right. Lemon Pledge.... as in the stuff you use on the coffee table? If it works cool, but, with all do respect, are you jokin?

Default lemon pledge here as well

I've used everything on the market and still go back to lemon pledge as well.
I us it on the whole bike but I don't use microfiber cloth I use cotton cloth.
I find microfiber leaves swirl marks in my black paint where the cotton dosen't.
Pledge is great for removing the bugs as well. Just give them a little spray....Let it sit for a few seconds and the bugs wipe right off. Another thing its available everywhere and the cost is cheap.

All good recommendations but do not use RainX like you do on your cage - it will melt the laminate on the Lexan and make it cloudy. Harley makes a repellant that you can use but a good wax or your favorite detailer will do the job.

Specifically to remove bugs without scratching I use a 50 / 50 mixture of hydrogen peroxide and water. Spray it on a wait a couple of minutes and they just melt off with a little wipe of your microfiber cloth.

I use a warm wet towel to get the bugs off. After it dries, I use Harley or Honda polish. It also polishes chrome, paint, etc. Works great and keeps the windshield looking nice for years.

I use pledge on my entire bike. I have so far in 10 years, at any price, found a better cleaner, period. When done, my bike shines. I learned this from a guy at a bike show years ago. It works great on the wind shield as it lifts dirt and helps prevent scratches. When cleaning your bike, spray a very small amount on a micro fiber rag and wipe down your bike. Tank, chrome, seat, mirrors. I challenge you to find a better cleaner at any price. No joke. Most people laugh until they try it. All for 2.95 a bottle. Try it and you will be hooked. Years of use, no issues. safe.

YES PLEDGE the furniture polish!!! I started with the HD cleaners, the other stuff they sell at the dealer,Meguairs, Mothers. I always end up using Pledge again and again. The whole bike 'cept the flat engine parts.I have used the other scents of Pledge its all good.
