Default **Help! - with RoadKing Shocks**

I just received my RK Shocks which came with the air tubes. I tried engaging the shradder valve to see if any air would come out. Instead, oil started to spew.

I tried removing the tube connected to the shock and the same thing happend. Is this normal? I expected air not oil.

Also, do i remove the actual brass bolt connected to the tubes? if so how? I would like to replace them with shradder valves.

thanks.

There is oil in the shocks. The brass bolt is put in the shocks to keep the oil from seeping out during shipping. Yes you remove the bolt and install the valves.
