I agree with most on here that say this could have been done better ... but it was a break from the crap that I hate here in Ohio in February. Wish they would have taken about 4 - 6 weeks to make the trip and see more scenery. I have no problem with the infomercial type format either ... it is their job to sell bikes.

The "fetal crouch" she used is actually very effective and comfortable for those of you who have never ridden a sport bike. Don't knock it. Changing your position on your bike can add miles to your day, and I am assuming that because she is a professional stunter on sport bikes (not movie stunts) she probably hasn't done much long distance riding.

I've crouched on my Road Glide with my feet up on the passenger floorboards plenty of times, just to stretch out the back. I've also laid flat on the tank with my legs straight out back going through a miserable freezing downpour in a Washington Pass. It works.

I liked it. With the winter weather here I can't ride and it was nice to see some bikes out there. I wish I was with them. The tour of York looked great too.

From a Marketing Standpoint:
1. I did enjoy seeing the different touring models in action.
2. The fast pace allowed them to show alot in 1 hour.
3. budzilla is spot on.
4. Overall it was OK.
5. The next day, my wife, who has always been a passenger, asked me if I thought she could ride on her own.
6. Marketing...an interesting concept, maybe they weren't really looking to impress the tried and true. bcb

Sounds like you guys wanted a remake of Easy Rider. After shoveling miles of snow for the last 2 months, I would be happy just watching a video of a Harley idling in the garage.
