Default Was bound to happen sooner or later

Dropped it today. Slid on some sand exiting a parking lot trying to yield to a truck on the road, when I finally got it stopped it was over a drainage dip and I reached for ground that wasn't there. Went over in slow motion. No real damage to the bike, slight muscle pull in my arm trying to save it. My buddies and me had a good laugh over it. We had just been talking about the stupid mistakes that caused each of us to drop different bikes over the years. I had mentioned (and knocked on wood) that I had never dropped the Road King but was sure it would happen sooner or later. Didn't expect it to come 10 minutes later.

Learned my lesson for the day, knocking on wood don't help for $h!+.

Doesnt matter if you break a limb, as long as your bike doesnt get scratched or marked up.

You probably knocked on laminated particle board. You have to knock on solid oak.

I pulled in to work one morning, and the grass was cut the day before, kinda long, and it was wet from the dew. When I went to turn around to back in, it slipped, and I dropped it. I was embarased, and had to wash grass off of the side of my bike.
