Those look like an attractive little add-on. Question for you guys that have added them to your bikes though. Did you notice any scuffing or abrasion of any sort under the oem hinges? They don't look like they have a very big footprint on the upper half of the hinge so they won't cover everything that might have been going on under there.

Probably being a little too **** about it but I thought I'd ask.

Just looked them up and says 06 and later! Does anyone know if there is a huge difference or has anyone with an older unit tried them yet??

I have an 03 and these would be great!!!

Had mine on wednesday. A little advice use a sharp 3/16" bit and go at it slow with minimal Pressure. Easy install on a Nice up grade. They cover the footprint fairly well, and like was said before all I found was wax.
