I'm going to replace the switch covers/controls on my 07 RKC. However, i don't want to spend the $500+ for the harley kit. I found a complete kit on Ebay from Hill Country Custom Cycles for $180 +shipping. The feedback is excellent.

Can anyone offer an opinion of these controls or offer alternatives?

 

dont know about the controls but i'm buying a second set of apes/cables from them...no problems

 

Same here, I allready had my chrome controls. I bought my apes and cables from them. Picked them up myself on the way to a rally. The cables they use are not the best cables.( Motion Pro) The bars were Cyclesmith,good bars. What I'm saying is, find out what brand controls they use and check for quility. They do have good prices though, would do it again.

 

I've got the chrome controls from them. There are some flaws in the chrome on my set, but I'm probably the only one that will ever look close enough to notice. That said, I'm not completely satisfied. I guess there is some truth to "you get what you pay for". Their customer service is good when you can get them on the phone. They don't answer every time, but they will call you back. I don't think I would ever have paid the 500+ bucks for controls from HD.
