Default Street Glide With Laced Wheels

Just curious, How many Street Glide owners here have Laced Wheels on their bike. Have Pic's?

I have a 09 SG on order and wanted to get an idea of what it's going to look like with wire wheels. Most of the pic's I see of SG's either have the cast wheels or aftermarket chrome wheels.

Thanks

JMO, but the laced wheels have to be a PITA to keep clean and looking nice. Hard enough to keep the cast wheels clean with the rotors in the way.

+1 on the laced wheels. paint was more important to me than the wheels. they aren't that bad to clean. thinking of having the rims powdercoated black with the stainless spokes.

To those that have them, what's the trick to keeping them clean, or cleaning them.

As for keeping them clean, no big deal. Harbor Freight has a little double roller thing you can drive on and just spin the wheel around as you clean. Don't have a shot of that but here is a close up of the wheel in a wheel chock - another good HF deal BTW.

The biggest PITA I have is checking the air - the damn dual disks get in the way so you have to thread the chuck in there.

I wasn't really a fan of the laced wheels of the street glides when I was looking. So I went with the cast, but to each his own.
