I know I'm in the wrong section but I'm trying to post in the "parts for sale" category but keeps tellin me I dont have permission. How do you get around this?

 

I believe you need to have at least 25 or 50 posts before you can post parts for sale, not 100% sure if it is 50 or 25

 

member for 30 days
at least 25 posts

 

I don't think you have enough posts in a given months time.
Just a guess , but I'm pretty sure.
I think the admins want "active" members to be able to post and not people that may just be here to sell stuff.
I guess you could say posting in the classifieds is an earned thing.

Thanks for the info. I've been reading this forum for a few years but never really became member cuz I need feel I had enough knowledge to bring to the table. I more or less just read all the interesting posts. I guess I'm going to have to get more involved.

 

When you get to that section on the main page, it says:


Harley Davidson Classifieds
You Have To Be An Active Member To Use This Forum. You Have To Have Been A Member For At Least 30 Days And Have At Least 25 Posts (Unrelated To The Classified Section) To Be Considered An Active Member. Only HDF Sponsors can post new threads in the Vendor For Sale Classified.
