Yep... its the fatty mammoth! I just did the front. Can't really see dropping all that dime on a wheel you can't really see. Will be doing bag extensions later! You really can't tell any difference in the 21 incher or at least I can't. Good luck man...

I've yet to see a single 21" wheel on this forum.

Check the link and it will show you 2 photos I took a couple weeks ago, it was an ebay prchase.

Mine is a 21" DNA 21 x 3 with a Metzler tire. Love it and felt no difference on the ride or balance of the bike.

Seemed like the bike was 300lbs heavier over a stock SG. Salesmen said it didn't handle or ride as well either. Just picking it up off the stand soured me on the 21" wheel. I suggest you check out the heft and ride ( if possible) of one before you go to 21".
Your salesmen don't know what he's talking about. My bike handles just as good if not better than before. I doubt the 1.25in higher [if they didn't lower it] was what you felt. Maybe it was the $4000 of chrome.

Very nice looking setup. I am thinking of doing this as well. How is the ride quality and anything different that you noticed?

21"x3.25 and 18"x3.5

I hear the bike turns in much quicker with the 21" and over all handling is better. I say "I hear" because I only rode my bike like 20-25 miles before I had the wheels put on.
