FBI jack knife highway pegs for floor boards
#21
I put these on my 2008 Street Glide myself about 6 months ago. I think the jack-knife pegs give me a nice option of foot position for longer rides. Getting the pegs open on the highway is easy if I'm wearing sneakers, much harder in boots.
The install wasn't too bad - but you do need to a grinder to cut some of the steel off of the bottom of the floorboard.

I pull them in on the turns because mine sits so low. My bike is a '94 so your floorboard mounts might be different. My mounts drag before the floorboards ever get close to the road. Like the others have said, easy install (if you boards are straight). I would check them before you begin. Also I believe the IMT branded are less than the FBI branded pegs.

You'r right It's a shoulder bolt type arrangement. It's a 2 piece assembly , part mounts to the floorboard with some screws and the peg pivots off the mount.

The pegs made by IMT are spring loaded and will retract to a safer position on impact. Also, they can be placed back under the floorboards with your boots without having to having to lean down and do it yourself. Fat Baggers signature series is manufactured by IMT. You can order your set directly from IMT via their website. www.imtnebraska.com
