Default Hog Tunes lower fairing speakers ??

I have been thinking about adding these to my bike and was wondering what the people that have them think. The kit I am looking at includes the amp. Do they make that much of a difference in the sound ? Are they easy to install ? Does the amp go inside the fairing ? Any opinions are appreciated. Thanks

They are awesome, I love them. I bought the FLSK kit (slightly different than the 3 Way for the Freeway kit ) because I already had Hogtunes speakers in front and rear. The addition of the amp and the lowers really helped a LOT. The amp is small and attaches with velcro to the top of your radio. Easy install too.

YES! They sounds awesome, look awesome, and the fit is perfect. I removed the cloth speaker covers and had the grills painted to match the bike. Gte the replacement fairing speakers, too, and the new tweeter unit.

Just checked the tracking from UPS today and my lower speakers should be arriving Monday. I'll add a post once I get them installed. I can tell you one thing, if the speakers sound half as good as Hogtunes customer service, they'll be great. You can also check their website and look at the installation instructions. I have and looks pretty straightforward. Steve

I think you'll enjoy them very much. I consider Hogtunes one of my best changes to the bike.

Hog Tunes customer service is awesome, Pez is a great resource. I dont have the lowers speakers but do have the rest of the hog tunes speakers and amp, also adding the unibrow tweeters!

Glad to hear your positive feedback. I plan on replacing the stock speakers with Hog Tunes once I get a few extra bucks.

If you look at the top of the page there is a "sticky" by Gas Can. Open it and you will find a link to his thread on installing the fairing lower speaker kit.

It's an easy installation. Whether you remove the lowers from the bike or not is your call--I didn't and had no difficulty.
