Just thought I'd mention that the HJC color of "Wine" closely matches (very closely) my Red Hot Sunglo bike.. I just bought the front flip model Sy-Max II and it is really nice.

I think I've tried on every carbon fiber helmet known to mankind :-) Even the new HD model. The ACC is the only one yet that doesn't give you the mushroom look and still meets DOT standards. I believe that pure carbon fiber and kevlar are the way to go. I use a full face Arai of the same construction at the track and it has saved my melon from any dramage :-) The new HD helmet is very nice but still sits really high on your head just like all their other helmets. The ACC helmet is unique on the market right now as far as I can see. That's why I bought it and recommend it.

I have the acc and it's the best I have owned, it's the only one I have worn for two years now. I got the non dot extended back, it's a little smaller but as said does not pass the 1" puncture test, my buddie got the dot polo at the same time and it is all he wears. Hear is a couple of pics. This is the only hemet I have owned that I have to touch my head when I start riding to make sure I did not forget it.

Post pics with it on when you get, if you will. Also let us know if the sizing runs true.
