Default Do 06 Road King tins fit an 04 Road King??

If I recall correctly 2006 Road King Custom tins should fit a 2004 Road King Custom without any modification...yes?

Tins from a 2007 RK Custom will not fit, yes?

I found a set of 06 tins and am thinking about a new paint scheme. These tins would do nicely, if they fit.

make sure the tanks are both carb, or both injected. other than that, they should be good to go. they still came with carb in 04.

I seem to recall that tanks thru these years are interchangable (carb and efi).
Can anyone confirm this?

I've adapted EFI to carb using a couple of screw in adapters. I would suggest checking to see if the both use the same canopy gasket (sending unit) if both bikes are EFI. fenders are interchangable.
