Removed Pizza Box on 2009 EG Classic

1.5" shorter than the original, 1/2" lower than Street Glide Shocks. It handles much better, but you don't have as much travel so you have to be a bit careful.

for stuff like this I don't go to the "stealer", I went to a small shop and it took them half an hour. I will eventually do the quick detach kit but I don't want Harley's because their bushings stink!

The bike handles much better and is tons lighter. I never had the SG shocks but Ron at Bitchin is a hell of a guy and knows what he is doing. I don't think anyone makes a detach kit yet other than Harley.

Thanks. I like your bike, that is what made me buy a Classic. I had a SG before but I wanted all the xtra chrome. I will never put a 21" wheel on this one, but I think I would on a SG. The tour pack is awesome, you can fit all kinds of stuff in there, very functional, just makes the bike look like an old man's.

Hey now!!!!!! I resent that remark. Or do I resemble it??? Hmmmm. I don't have any grey yet. Well maybe a little. Wonder if I can get an AARP card at 39.

50 yrs young--and yes--I have the AARP card, plenty of grey hair (after 4 kids, who wouldn't?) and a Tour Pack Trunk. IMHO the Tour Pack is the best accessory H-D sells. Although I have to admit, the bike handles much better when it is removed. But, for 2-up touring, it can't be beat. Once you use it, you'll wonder how you survived on the road without one. And it looks better than a trailer...which I'm sure she could overload just as easily!
