Looks good Rooster. I don't know what you have in mind for the license plate but if you want to keep it where you have it look at some P clamps. You should be able to get a couple the right size for the gaurd rails in chrome and you can bolt the plate right to them.
I understand that the quick disconnect for the tour pack is just that... quick, but how hard/fast is it to remove it the way you did. And, if you had to guess, how hard to put it back on?
Thanks,
Jerm
Took me an honest 2 hours to remove the tour pack and install the 4-bar package rack/sissy bar. But I work slow and meticulously...cleaning and polishing all the dusty parts I uncovered. If I were "on the clock" I'll bet I could swap it back in under 45 minutes. Not bad, but definitely NOT quick-disconnect.
Bout as nice as I have seen.Bitchin is doing my shocks now-11/2".Do you like them over HD SG 12"shocks?I want to take off tour pak but use it often.Does anyone have a preference on kit?
just wanted to share what it looks like without the tour pak and lowered 1.5 inches.
Nice, I like the look much better. To *me* a touring pack, or pizza box as you refer to it, on a motorcycle is like a camper shell on a pick-up truck. They are both functional. Looks is another matter though.

Or one of those clam shell luggage carriers on the back of a Corvette.
