Thumbs up To paint or not to paint???????

hi has anybody painted there heat deflectors on 09 ultra to match paint color if so can i see a picture if not what do you guys think about painting them ???

I don't know of any paint that would hold up to the heat.

the paint on the bike holes up to the heat????
paint under a hood of my 62 impala with a 409 dual carbs holes up to the heat
how much heat are we talking about less then 200 degrees??????????

I think he's just pulling your leg about the heat.

I haven't seen any color-matched heat shields, but I think they'd look pretty good - I'm assuming that you're talking about the little plastic heat shields in front of the seat and not the exhaust pipe heat shields.

I'd guess that any really good automotive urethane paint, like Dupont Imron for instance, would hold up OK. You might possibly have problems if you go with a base coat - clear coat system.
