Default Installing Front chrome wheel spacer on 08 king

I removed my front wheel and im not sure if there is a certain side each spacer goes on? And was wondering if they are supposed to ride flush against the rotor? Thanks

No the rotor has to turn (with the wheel). The spacer rides between the fork and the bearing. So there will be a small gap between the rotor and the spacer.
I think if you put them side by side you will see they are the same. I think.

Can't speak to the chrome spacers, but on my '04 there is a left and right side spacer (the right side has no notches, the left one has three). And the left spacer with nothches mounts with the notches towards the wheel side and the plain side towards the rotor. I didn't measure the i.d. of the spacers, but I believe the orientation is important because the axle is tapered.

This may help. If not ABS the external spacers are interchangeable.
