Hey all

The chrome piece is plastic, and has a raised ridge. the HD version is metal, and no ridge. This was done to try and keep the "Harley cops" at bay. Im sure the chrome part could be painted. It can also be removed all together.

The unit comes ready to paint. For the vast majority of bikes, it goes on in 1/2 hour (or less) and is perfect out of the box. For the guys that want to customize it, it comes completely apart with 7 screws for paint etc.

We havent put this on our site yet cause we dont have stock till mid Feb. Its our policy NOT to take $$ for product we dont have in stock. I leave Thursday to make the official release of this part at the VTWIN EXPO in Cinci where many custom bikes from Drag, and Klock Werks have them installed and customized on their demo bikes. American Bagger, Hot Bike Bagger and at least 1 other magazine will release articles on this in March issues.
