I went by the dealership that sold me the bike, pulled the tickets and my Rush have the 2" baffles, we did the Stage 1 download and air cleaner. Based on all of the comments, I am going to ride and not worry about the Dyno and the race tuner. Being a new rider, and spending this kind of money the recomendation of the tuner/dyna caused me to doubt...Thanks to all

I just purchased a set of 2.25" Rush Straight cuts for my RK.... I will probably get a new air cleaner, judging from what Ive read from you guys.
Get this $199 for the pair, $15 for the shipping. Brand new in the box.
Now, time for this sh*tty WI weather to pass so I can get it in the shop for the download.

Olddog, I have a 2008 Electra Glide Standard. I have the Rush shipons with a 1.5 inch baffle. I started out with a 1.75 inch baffle but those were "borderline" too noisy and went to the 1.5. That little change made a fair amount of difference in the noise level. The 1.5's still have a nice growl to them. I did nothing with the air or fuel and, of course, no dyno. A Harley dealer close to us that has been in business a long time usually puts on the Rush slipons when their customers want more sound. They say you can go up to the 1.75's without worrying about air and feul and that you won't have to worry about running too lean for 80% of the throttle range. Since I've had the Rush's on I've looked at my plugs and they are perfect in color. Also have had the 5000 mile service done and there was no mention of lean running by the service people. So, you don't have to do anything as along as you stay at the 1.75's with the Rush's.

I have 2" Rush and love them. I live about 10 minutes from the Rush plant and stopped there to speak with them. Great people. You don't need to tune the engine if you stay a 2" or smaller baffle. Anything bigger and you will.

1.5s are the quitest Rushes.

If you ever get stopped or live in certain states that put your bike on a machine that checks it's air to fuel ratio when you get your inspection sticker, you will be hosed.
Emissions testing doesn't check a/f ratio. It tests for excess amounts of hydrocarbons, carbon monoxide, and sometimes, oxides of nitrogen.

Yes. Bought them with 2.0s installed and didn't like the sound or the volume, so bought 1.5s. Still sounded to raspy/brappy to me, so I took 'em off and re-installed my Jackpots. 1.5 volume was OK, but I wanted a lower sound, which Jackpots do.

How do the Python 3 1/2" slip-ons compare to the Rush 1.75 and 2.0?
