Default Road King Classic

Looking for some help here. Does anyone have any pics of their RKC without spoke rims? If so what kind of tires do you have on them? Wide white walls, narrow white walls or black walls. I like the looks of the spokes and WWW but I did not like the idea of being out in the middle of no where with a flat that I couldn't fix. So, I now have a set of HD 9 spoke rims on their way and was wondering what I should run for rubber. Anyone with pics feel free to post them I need some ideas.
Thanx
Jeff

Not the best picture but I talked the sales manager into switching for black walls when they changed the rims.

I knew I wouldn't clean the spokes

This is when it was new a year ago. It hasn't looked this clean since

Thought about the same thing myself. Bought the H-D 9 spoke wheels, Him'd and Ha'd and then sold em. I like the spokes and I'm going with aftermarket spokes w/black rims/hubs. Use S100 to clean em, and the look just can't be beat.

As a previous '06 RKC owner, I'd stick with WWW tires and spokes to keep the nostaglic looks. IMO, If you bought it, clean it with pride and enjoy the ride.

Yeah, I'll admit that cleaning the WWW's is a PITA, but I got alot of comments on the bike everywhere I went.

Go Nostaglic,

Corey

BigJames,

How about a full photo of your bike. I like my www and spokes but also have thought about the long ride / flat syndrome. Your front end looks really nice. I've thought about having a second set of mags / tires but couldn't get over the change in personality of the bike. But yours looks like you get the best of both worlds and that might get me to get a second set.

The HD 9 spoke wheels just came in today. They look great and I really liked the pics that I saw. The rims I got are the stock black Ultra rims, where did you guys have the chroming done. I really liked the look of your bikes Edward and Big James. The chrome and blackwall of Edwards really look good though.
