Default South Carolina to Laconia

Planning to ride to Laconia Bike Week this June from South Carolina. Was wondering if anyone has any recommendations on routing to see a little scenery and to avoid the eastern corridor metro areas. Was thinking about catching part of the Blue Ridge, swing through York, and approach from New York State northwest of the city. Planning on giving the trip about 2.5 days each way. Any thoughts/suggestions?

Maybe swing NW as you reach NJ/NY and enter NY State from PA instead of through NYC. It's beautiful farm country and you'll miss all of the metro traffic. Take 495 around Boston to Rt. 3 up through Nashua and Manchester NH then meet up with 293/93 to Laconia.

i live in eastern pa. head to laconia everyyear. when you leave york take 83 north to harrisburg then 81 north to 78 east. 1 hour to allentown,pa take 33 north to 209 north, goes through fed forest along delaware river to new york state. take 84 east through new york and conneticut into massachusetts. pick up 90 east to 495 north then 3 north to Laconia. it takes about 8 or 9 hrs from York to laconia.
if you want more options pm me. all depends what type of roads you want. the ones above split interstate(4lane) and old highway in real good shape. keeps you off the metro corridor
